Call to Ministry

After salvation on June 15, 1971, Jim sensed no other purpose than preaching God’s Word.  While at Tennessee Temple University in 1975 ,he sensed the need to leave the borders of the USA to preach to the unreached. 

Service and Achievements

Jim has established the Faith Baptist Bible College in Tiwi, Kenya with more than 150 graduates leading congregations all over Kenya.  Several primary schools have are being established feeding and educating more than 900 children; Diani Baptist Academy, Tiwi Baptist Academy, Perani Baptist Academy and Crossroads Academy.

Jim is one of the senior Pastors of Crossroads Fellowship Church.  He and his wife, Susie, have served in Africa for over 25 years.  Their main ministry was church planting and the development of Faith Baptist Bible College in Tiwi, Kenya.  They have been instrumental in making an impact on the Digo Tribe with the establishment of the Tiwi Baptist Academy with over 200 students.

In 2002, God spoke to Jim about starting a church in his Kenyan home-town of Nyali.  That June, CF was started in a small storefront and has now grown to an attendance of 500 weekly.  The church has been blessed to see people saved and baptized every month since it began.  Praise the Lord.

Jim and Susie have three adult children, a son named Jason and twin daughters Rachel and Cheryl.  God has also blessed them with two baby granddaughters.
