Areas of learning in Kindergarten 


Personal, Social and Emotional Development
Children learn to be self-confident, take an interest in the environment, know what their needs are, tell the difference between right and wrong and become self-reliant.


Communication, Language and Literacy
Children learn to communicate confidently and clearly, enjoying stories, songs and poems, hear and say sounds, and link them to the alphabet.


Mathematical Development

Children learn to develop an understanding of Mathematics through stories, songs, games and imaginative play. They become comfortable with numbers and are aware of shapes and space.


Knowledge and Understanding of the World
Children explore about the world around them. They build things using different materials and learn about everyday technology.


Physical Development
Children learn to move confidently, controlling their body and handling equipment.


Creative Development
Children explore colors and shapes. They try out dance, role play, crafts, telling stories and music.


Others
Crossroads Academy is not just an academic school; there is a strong emphasis on Moral and Spiritual Development of the child. Each day begins with devotion either within the class or a collective school assembly.
